BOOKING INFORMATION

General Information

TARIFF. All inclusive of electricity, (i.e. hot water, light and cooking), bed linen, tea towels and bath mat, cot and highchair, stairgate and fireguard, if required. Games room, trampoline room, swimming pool, tennis court and initial supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, salt, peppermill, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder and cleaning agents. Towels (one bath and one hand can be supplied at £3.00 per set/week or part thereof, (see booking form). PLEASE BRING SWIMMING TOWELS, BABY'S BEDDING IS NOT PROVIDED. Each cottage has its own garden table, garden chairs and sunlounger, sun umbrella and barbecue. All cottages have a dishwasher, microwave and fridge /freezer, except in Granary which has a fridge with a freezer compartment. There is a laundry room with washing machine, tumble drier and iron/ironing board for use by all residents.

SPECIAL NOTE. If you come from outside the U.K., will you please make your payment either by cheque drawn on a U.K.bank, International Money Order from a Post Office or Bankers Draft in Sterling from your bank. Other means of payment can involve heavy bank charges, which we will have to pass on to you.

HEATING. There are £1 meters in the cottages for the electric radiators and towel rails. The Barn has gas central heating which, if used, is charged at £5 per night

BOOKING DEPOSIT. 25% to be paid on booking please. The balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival, or the full amount to be paid on booking if the arrival date is within six weeks. Once the deposit has been paid you have entered into a contract and are liable to pay the balance even if the holiday has to be cancelled, unless we are able to re-let the cottage, in which case the deposit only is forfeited. Insurance can be taken out to cover cancellation and we do advise you to take this up with your insurers. See paragraph on INSURANCE.

DOGS. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at a cost of £3 per night or £20 per week for the first dog,£1 per night or £5 per week for others. Please keep dogs on a lead around the cottages and stableyard. They may be exercised in the fields when they are empty.

NUMBER IN PARTY. This should not exceed the number given on the tariff for each cottage, unless by prior arrangement. Extra persons will be charged at £10 per person per night to a maximum of £30.

REDUCED RATE FOR 2 PERSONS/SHORT BREAK DISCOUNTS A discount for two people is shown on the pricing and availability sheet together with short break discounts.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE. Arrival: not before 3.00 P.M. Departure: BY 10A.M. please. For short breaks and weekends please ask. Guests are requested to leave their cottage as they found it. During school holidays please do not arrive early. Changing eight cottages takes time and we cannot accommodate anyone before 3pm. We can recommend The Grove Inn in Kings Nympton if you want lunch, or any of the many cafes/restaurants in South Molton.

DOVECOTE & GRANARY. These two cottages can be made into one large cottage sleeping ten with four bedrooms, two bathrooms plus a separate toilet, by means of two soundproof connecting doors between the sitting rooms. The tariff is the sum of the two separate cottages. One night storage heater is included in the rent for each cottage.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY. Any damage or breakages should be reported
